To help my mornings go a little smoother

I prepare a bunch of lunch items on Monday and throw them in a bin, so I can just grab them and pack five lunches in a very short amount of time each morning.

All I have to do is make sandwiches - I do not, like one family I know, make all the sandwiches too and store them in the freezer and then thaw them out daily.  That grosses me out as I am thinking of it....

Going A Little Darker

Decided to try a darker shade of hair in preparation for the Fall - I can't wait for cooler weather, even pulled out my boots the other day.

Update on Omar

He is getting better.  And now the kids are in school, the daytime with him is actually pleasant.  He hangs out with me while I work in my office.

This week as been low key, and I thought I might "treat" myself and sit down and watch Rachael Ray, and, of course, Omar came with me.

He really is pretty, isn't he?

Last Minute Spend-the-Night

After school yesterday, Tavis wanted to know if Banks could come over and play.  Sure!!!  Then we decided to make it a sleepover.

I asked the boys for a picture last night while they were playing in the yard, and this is how they posed.  :)

Tavis and Banks are good-for-each-other-friends.  Always glad to see boys want to end the night with books...

I knew Banks' Dad and Uncle in college and I only called him Hans three times during his stay here.

I always said these two were glued at the hip....

When you have boys two things are certain

1) Weird objects soar thru the air (brooms).

2) Things break (or, in this case, shatter).
