Date Night!

Tonight, Friday, we went out with some friends. They have a 14 year old daughter, a son and then two little girls, 10 and 8. It has worked out a few times to have their daughter babysit for us when we go out on a double date.

This time we dropped the kids off at their house and Christine fed them dinner and played with them/watched movies until we got back from our date. We went out to eat, ate way too much food and then decided to go play putt-putt. I wasn't sure about this since I hadn't played in 20+ years, plus I get too involved sometimes and lose track of the fact that we are having fun.

But we had fun. Unfortunately, the men decided that we would play for ice cream. Losers pay for an ice cream treat for everyone!! Fortunately, we won, 108 to 112 (scores combined), no thanks to me!

It was a fun night, but I failed to take any pictures. The kids had fun playing with friends and survived even tho we didn't get home until midnight!
