Gary's family got here late last night. His Dad and Mom, Gerry and Desiree, and his brother and sister-in-law and nephew, Alan, Ibolya (who is pregnant) and Joel. This is the first time for them to be in the States! How exciting! They seem so great, it is nice to know Ruth will be well loved and well taken care of on the other side of the world! A week of activity blogs to come!

Daegan's Corner

I bought Daegan an under-the-bed-rubbermaid box. He is always storing things and I told him he could keep his treasures in this particular box and hide it under his bed where I didn't have to see it. Since his birthday, he has been building and storing on the piano - aka "Daegan's Corner" He has too many "treasures"!

Ice Cream Social

Since Gary and Ruth will be heading back to South Africa after their honeymoon, they can't take a lot of gifts back. So, in lieu of a bridal shower, they had a 'Meet Gary Ice Cream Social/Shower'. People mostly brought gift cards. Purple will be the highlighted color of the wedding day! Gary meet a lot of people last night, here he is taking a break and having a seat.

Of course the kids loved an ice cream social!!!

Unintended Science Project

Mollee was not pleased to find out that if you fill your water bottle with water and stick it in the freezer... ....it will crack!
