After Game Love

Mollee and Tavis fight. They fight often. But Tavis is a lover and Mollee needs acceptance, so, somehow it works. I can remember fighting, and fighting nasty, with my brothers, but they were the most important to me in high school.

Mollee and Tavis roam the high school halls together now. I know the fighting is not over, but I also see them begin to really love and appreciate each other.

After Mollee's game tonight, they walked together. Tavis congratulated Mollee on a win. Mollee said thanks for coming. They walked Tavis' arm around Mollee's neck, but I snapped a photo later.

And I am pretty sure Mollee hit Tavis at some point soon after this photo was taken.

She has Tavis. I had Philip.

And I love to watch it from the parent sidelines.

Officer's Training

I worked my tail off this week to help Pastor Pirschel prepare for Officer's Training. He was teaching a seminar this weekend for all of our Elders and Deacons (about 50 men) to discuss the church's vision. Being Executive Assistant to the Pastor, I got to prepare outlines and play "hostess".

I fed them barbecue on Friday night, muffins, fruit, and coffee for breakfast, and sub sandwiches for lunch on Saturday. Tavis helped me Friday night and Mollee helped me on Saturday. I was exhausted, but I would call the weekend a success.

Haircuts

This is what my front porch looks like about every eight weeks. I know what I'm doing, but I don't enjoy it. But I'm saving money!!

Turning 40!

Today, I turned 40. Apparently, it was no big deal. Not much happened, Jason worked late, so I took the kids out to eat - "Happy Birthday to me!"
