In-School Field Trip for Kindergarten

The local Children's Museum brought a "field trip" to Mac's class today.  The topic: the Human Body!

 They made them try a rainbow of foods - grapes, carrots, yellow peppers, tomatoes, blueberries, etc.

 Then they made them "make a plate of food" with play food - something colorful.  My ham-of-a-son decided to act like he was eating the fish.

 They also made them listen to their hearts, then jump on one foot for 30 seconds and listen again.

They had other activities too, like pin-the-organ-on-the-body, skeleton puzzles, a germ center and a tooth brushing center.

It was fun to be able to participate in this activity.  Always love to be involved at school!
